The general rule is a good reputable breeder will not just give breeding rights away like that that because a good reputable breeder works extremely hard for there lines and to make them as free of health problems as a they can. And no offense but if she is just giving breeding rights away like that she probably didn't work really hard for her lines or care that much about the pups otherwise she would have a spay and neuter contract. When you bring a pup home at 12 weeks there's no way to tell if they will even be breeding quality until there 6, 7 or 8 months old. I would make sure that this breeder did all necessary health and genetic testing and if she didn't and you are still getting the pup from her you need to get pet insurance that covers genetic illnesses ASAP.
