Trace watches the birds when he's inside, but isn't too concerned with them outside. He did find a dead one once....we fought over that....me taking it and him keeping it....ewwww. His official job is to chase the Canadian (we poop larger piles than dogs) Geese out of the yard. Not only are they poop machines, but it's also never occurred to them that they are 20 times bigger than the dog chasing them. I've spent 13 years trying to get rid of those things....all I needed was 4lbs. of goose patrol. Trace's also just realized that egrets and herrings stand at the edge of the water....now they don't have to be on OUR side....he barks at them across the way too. From the looks of it....he thinks their slow plodding along means he's getting them to leave. I don't even think they realize he's barking at them
