I thought about this a little more and I shouldn't be surprised. Unlike human hair products, most pet grooming products do not put the full list of ingredients on their bottles, and many companies will not disclose them.
Part of the reason is a real desire to keep their products from being duplicated, but I understand this does not help consumers who want to know what they are using on their pets.
Espree and Bio-Groom do not contain soap/detergent -- that much they will say. There are several other big names, but I don't want to rely on my memory alone. I would have to double check them.
