He went to his appt. and I didn't really find anything out. The vet that saw him was the owner guy and I never really find anything out when I take any of our dogs to him. He's more old school and a little rough with Joel, Joel doesn't like him lol. Also he'll say what he thinks something is without doing any tests or anything and than that's it.
He said it's only acid reflux if the swallowing happens when his stomach is empty. I thought acid reflux was caused from eating too much at once or too late at night which is what happens to Joel.
He said feeding him before bed should fix it but that's what flares him up to swallowing all night. So everything he said to do is opposite of what needs to be done.
The other vet there is his daughter and she is awesome and the reason I LOVE the place

Joel loves her and she's very helpful and has been there through Rosco and Dixon and is so good with all our dogs

So I'll make an appt. when she's there(and she never charges for the vet visit
