I would wait until a lot more than the recommended norms. At the very earliest 10 months, with 12-14 months being ideal in my eyes. This will allow your pups growth plate to close, and allow all baby teeth to fall out on their own. If for some reason they don't fall out, they can be extracted at the same time as the neuter. My 2 cents anyway.
