Trudie, One of my girls gained a POUND after a year old. She heard me say SPAY to her, and she said NO WAY..lol I didn't breed her til she was two, and then she gained ANOTHER half pound..but to see her as a youngster you would have thought there was NO way she would have made size. Just keep telling her the word "spay".. lol it worked wonders on my girl, who wanted to be a mommy sooooooo bad. Or..Maybe you should say "pet home" to yours, LOL
