Have you searched for non-chain pet stores in your area or feed stores? Those tend to have a better selection of higher quality foods vs Petco or PetSmart. I have a small mom and pop pet shop down the road from me that has some good food for Kaji. I usually run there and pick up a bag of Stella and Chewy's when I run out of Kaji's kibble. It holds us over until I have the time to run down to the larger local chain store that carries the kibble I feed Kaji and gives me a discount for being a member. I tried the auto ship too, and it really wasn't very helpful. We too have a few extra mouths to feed now and then and it's so much easier to just go out and buy what I need.
