I haven't been behind the scenes at any dog shows, but have at cat shows. From appearances kitties getting all foo-foo'd with the teasing comb, blow dryer, and hair spray didn't look like much fun

just loves all the attention
I still think they hold the lead high to get them to prance, yes they could train them to prance, but holding that lead up....guarantees that prancey walk.
