I just adopted a furbaby I name Ferghus. My eighteen year old son adopted his brother and named him Wallee.
While I do have a cattle breed mix who is a rescue, she is fifteen years old, I have always been partial to little dogs. So much personality in such a tiny package. This is my first yorkie having always had chihuahuas before. I did ask my son if he was concerned about comments people might make about him having a yorkie and he stated no he was secure in who he was and worst case scenario Wallee would be a great chick magnet. LOL. When his dad and I got married I had a chihuahua that was 8yo. His dad expressed disgust over having a "worthless" dog. Till the sweethart killed a rat that had gotten into our house, took to hunting, camping and fishing like no other and showed him what a real watchdog was. She only barked at strangers. I have no doubt that Ferghus and Walle will be wonderful. They already are.
