I completely agree!! I guess it doesn't make much sense to those of us who don't show our dogs but it is perfectly customary for those of you who do show your dogs. Not that any one side is right or wrong. Just different opinions. All I have as reference is my Nikko who puts up a fuss when I merely try to dress him to go outside in the cold. I can't imagine tying up his hair in bunches. He would go insane!! It sort of reminds me of those women who force their little daughters into beauty pageants. Sure the little girls get used to it, but deep inside they are still little girls who wish they could run and play and get dirty if they want to. Again, just my opinion and no offense to anyone.
