Maybe that's what they were going for, but it just looked like a choking effect to me. Maybe I just don't know a lot about showing but all this talk about wrapping, and the lead, and not allowing show dogs to play with other dogs, is just getting me thinking about whether showing is actually fun for the poor dog.
