Yeah, those flashbacks kinda irritated me too, bc I didn't think they were necessary. BUT, I did love seeing my Hershel, whom I miss so much, he was so great/kind!
Me and my hubs both just gasped when Rick tore the neck out of that dude, but we also thought it was heroic bc he had no other choice. He truly is a survivor...and he'd do ANYTHING to save Carl.
My husband thinks they likely drugged the food at the entry - so that survivors would pass out and they could then confine them.
I'm so glad that so much of the gang is back together! Love that Daryl found Rick...and I just *loved* it when Rick called Daryl his brother
...such a great/validating moment for Daryl. It showed him that his feelings and the changes he went through via the prison group were worthy and right.
