A couple of months ago I bought new stainless steel dog bowls. They weren't made in USA but they were heavy and expensive so I bought them thinking they would be OK. I usually wash them in hot soapy water and let them air dry overnight. Yesterday I was in a hurry and washed them the same way but dried them with a papertowl. I looked down and my hands and the papertowel were black from the finish on the stainless steel coming off. Macy and Molly were eating out of these things.

I have now ordered stainless steel bowls online that are made in the USA and should be here in 3 - 4 days. If you buy dog bowls at PetSmart, Petco or a pet boutique, please check the label on the back and see where they were made.
