I would let her cry that way she gets used to her crate. If you rescue her every time she whines it will take her longer. My girl had one puppy 6 weeks ago and when she leaves the baby alone for some mommy time, the baby would cry now the little girl is use to being alone for short times and dosent cry. I make sure she has food and water all the time because yorkies are so small and could get low blood sugar and dehydrate vary quickly. It took her 3 days to get used to being alone.
