I'm very proud of little Mr. Razzle too! It's a big step when they just obey your hand signals and does take longer than just the words or words with hand signals as they have to learn it on their own. Obeying only hand signals shows you just how closely they watch what we do as you probably, like me, haven't ever trained him a trick/command using only the hand signal but just gave a command and performed the hand signal concurrently, with Razzle just incidentally picking up the hand signal along the way. So it's just their closely watching our hands as we speak the command and signal that teaches the hand signal so for them to respond to only the hand signal says how much in tune with the trainer the dog is and how much he wants to please you. Congratulations. It's a big step little Razzle has taken. He's a bright boy, well-tuned to his trainer!!!
