Barney tries to be a beast and kill the blanket monster, too. Like you said, he is just now learning to growl fiercely. It actually sounds pretty cute. I think he's saying, "Why, I oughtta pound you!" But when the hand comes out, the game is over. I never thought much of it because he's never aggressive outside of play. During play, though, he is a killer. Poor stuffed animals never have a chance.
