This reply makes me wonder if putting Baxter's crate in our room at night may help him. He sleeps fine in his crate, but gets up twice a night and needs out to use his pee pad. He never pees a lot, but your reply makes me think, maybe he wakes up and just wants to know we are still there...as his crate is in a whole different room. Baxter is 3.5 months old, maybe he is just young and needs to get up and go during the night. But tonight we will try putting his crate in our room and see how it goes.
