At that age he is consider a senior pup. It was about that same age that my Quincy started to slow down. He's been cleared of any serious health issues so its pretty much his age. He's 11 now and I have noticed that walk are out of the question, he cant make it any more than two blocks. I must admit that he is a bit overweight and a good walk or job would do him some good but I fear it would be too much for him to handle.

I would suggest having him checked over make sure paying special attention to his knees and hips. And just let him decide on if a walk is going to happen. Dragging him will only make the event more stressful for the both of you.
