Did you say you had just changed her food to canned when she got sick or did I misunderstand that? If so, did you gradually add just a bit of the canned to her dry food or give her a dish of it? |
the pancreatic and liver issue were ruled out from the vet from the result when we first went in on Tuesday so I knew it wasn't those. and yes we gave her canned food because the vet said that's what she ate when we first brought her in. But we are only giving her small amounts so it would not upset her stomach as we were advised by the doc.
Cookie was also given famotidine to take twice a day.
