Just popped on to say a big HI to everyone! I know I'm not on much anymore, it's a busy place around here.
Pat is doing really well. He's still going to rehab 3 times a week but is doing great. Still having a some balance issues while walking on his U-Step but is mostly self sufficient, like bathing, eating, getting around, etc.
We have his meds all leveled out ,he's so himself now, teasing, laughing and joking around. We only have caregivers at night to assist him when he gets up to go to the bathroom, oh and he sleeps through the nights now, YAY.
I only have a caregiver come an hour before the time for van to pick Pat up to go to rehab and she rides with him. I drive myself as I can't deal with riding in the van, I'm weird like that, but I realize...it's ok. All the other days, we call our free days, no caregivers and we do whatever we want, lol.
We go out and about every chance we get, it's wonderful.
