 Relief from scratching
My first yorkie had severe scratching issues, I assume from allergies, and I was told he might be allergic to even just one flea bite. It was constant. I did not want to bring him in for the steroid shots as they are suppose to be bad for esp. small dogs. I found a topical steroid spray call Genesis, ask your vet, I bought a big bottle, you just spray it once on the "hot spot". It is the only thing I found that worked. Wish I could give you this bottle. I now have a new pup that is a bit bigger, stronger , huskier - and never has scratching!
I know the frustration for both of you. This topical is a life saver. Also, remember just a single flea bite can irritate for days. I used to use the tiny comb daily along w flea meds. Good luck! |
