Ours doesn't rest on his way TO the food bowl....he stops to EAT everytime he goes by it....LOL. What he does do....we have a baby gate at the kitchen door....other 2 will hurdle that....fat kitty just WAITS until someone comes and opens it for him
No need for excerise
