I'm so sorry this happened to your little baby just out of the blue. Poor little thing - at least it sounds as if it happened quickly with no time for suffering. I'm so sorry she is gone and the pain and loss with no answers are what you are left with. Losing a family member like this just out of the blue is such a shock that it's hard to wrap your mind around it for the longest time so give yourself time to get past the shock, the disbelief, then the grief, anger and sadness and hurt of loss. It will take you some time to get your grips so don't rush yourselves or be too hard on yourself or your seemingly numb brain for the next weeks and don't be afraid to grieve.

I hate to bring this up but I would question the circumstances of her sudden death. If she was a normal, healthy dog with CT, perhaps her condition escalated and proper medical attention not obtained for her in time, perhaps she fell off the table or suffered some blunt force trauma so perhaps a necropsy done by her vet might be considered and private talks with any employees away from the salon. At least you might know what caused this tragic, sudden death. The only thing that could make this worse is that it was abuse or negligence.

R.I.P., little Pebbles.
