Winston is still a baby who is about to turn three in May. I adopted Winston from a rescue/placement group at age 1. He came knowing a few things because he was originally being held back by a show breeder. He was pad trained and comes in front and sits down whenever you're around so he has some nice manners.
But Winston also came with a problem of poop eating. I figured he would outgrow it and I tried to prevent as best I could by prompt clean up, etc.
Recently, I've been proud of Winston as he has stopped eating poop. All of the tried and tested methods set forth by the YT Poop Guru (megansmomma) failed Winston so time was the only hope.
Now, however, we have a new problem. Winston is taking poop and placing it on his bedding. This means his cloud 9 beds have become contaminated and I am finding buried treasures under blankets. Last night, this habit took a turn for the worse when I found him on OUR bed with a poop nugget!!!!!!! That's when I knew things were not good.
Can anyone help? What is he trying to do with this??? Is he marking territory? Do I need professional help?
I've attached a photo of Winston's evil eye that he gives when he is in poop possession. Thank you.
