Welcome to Yorkie Talk. I believe it is normal to be nervous because you adding to your family, and it is a big commitment to bring a pup into your life. If you are lucky, it will be a 15 to 20 year commitment.
I wasn't nervous until I brought my first puppy home and realized he was like having a newborn human baby -- a highly mobile one. The first year was challenging, but very rewarding. The love and fun of a Yorkie are immeasurable and priceless.
