Dogs chew with their rear teeth and not their front teeth. Front teeth are used for ripping and tearing by carnivores. When a dog chews for their own satisfaction they used their rear teeth. One dog with a broken tooth does not mean that bully sticks break teeth and that no one should use them. |
Just going buy what a vet dentist says....... Then the fact that I have heard lots of stories of dogs breaking there teeth on bully sticks. I didn't want to listen or believe it either then wham Callie broke her tooth on one. Sadly me having to learn the hard way caused her pain.
