So if she's getting 2 meals per day you should expect her to poop 2 times. When she's out for her walk does she do her business or is it play time? If your husband takes her out it should be for the sole purpose of elimination. If she doesn't do what she's there for then she needs to be kept right at your side and if any sights of going needs to be taken immediately back out. It sounds like she might have some anxiety issues as well. Have you tried using a Thundershirt or Thundercap. Thundershirt | The Best Dog Anxiety Treatment
What about using an anti anxiety med. was that suggested by your vet? Virbac Animal Health — ANXITANE® (L-Theanine) Chewable Tablets | United States |
I wish I could keep her by my side at all times! My vet actually did not suggest anxiety medication at all because while she is very destructive, she is not an anxious or nervous dog. I might get one of the shirts though and leave it on her just to see if it makes a difference.
