Lola loves being in it and so does my sister's dog, they seem to feel very safe. The last time we were at the Ren. Festival it was very crowded and Lola had it with people making a fuss over her. I was sitting on a bench taking a rest and Lola was at my feet, all of a sudden I see her climbing into the lower parcel carrier compartment, she pushed in on top of some stuff I bought. LOL she could not reach the carrier portion, but she wanted to get away from the crowds. You are right about space, I often put my purse and some bags in the compartment along with Lola and there seems to be plenty of room.
