Even people have been given medical advice to better their outcome while at a hospital. A member had a stroke and got on to ask for prayers. A Member nurse realized she needed better medical care and instructed the member's son in things to do to get his mom more appropriate care and found a specialist for the member.

Many times members have run searches for new members to find appropriate medical care for their pets in their area, as they are too distraught or not computer savvy enough to find this info on their own.

Many people don't want 'to bother' their vet with what seems to them a simple or silly question, so they ask it here.

You think lives are not being saved by some of this advice? That's your opinion. My opinion is that YT does make a difference and has been helpful thousands of times over.
I agree 100% Great Post!
