I totally agree. Dogs don't just automatically learn to act like Lassie. It takes time and consistant training to teach a dog how to behave.
Some basic obedience training, sit, stay, down, come, and of course "NO" will go a long way to having a better behaved dog in your home.
Any bad behavior can be corrected by proper training. As yorkietalkjilly said make sure you make training time a fun time. Use treats. Your dog should look forward to it. |
