Personally, I have a hard time with a lot of AP programming. They make pet ownership look like such an easy casual thing. They say stupid things like "if you have an apartment then these small dogs are great for you because they don't need as much exercise as the larger pet." But small dogs need just as much and sometimes more exercise than larger pets. People come away with the idea they can get a little dog and coop it up all day and don't have to exercise it.
They never have true professional breeders on there that would give sound advise about pet ownership. Just because a person has had dogs cranking out litters of puppies several times a year for 20 years does not mean they are good breeders but that is who they have on AP. |
