I agree with this. I found YT while looking up a problem my dog was having, but it was only because I was waiting for the vets office to open. I didn't actually make any posts right away, just lurked and soaked up info for a few days first. There is no way I would ask for emergency advice over going to a vet. Everyday, non emergent type problems are a different story, and those don't need emergent responses.
The frustrating thing is, these emergency posters many times never come back with an update or respond to what was suggested, so I think that many times they go from forum to forum, hoping to get an immediate response.
