These are all the same place, and operate just steps away from the infamous Puppy Boutique (puppy petite) I read an interesting review on complains board. There is also a woman by the name of fran who is advertising home raised yorkies in staten island, yet when I cross checked her email and phone number up popped a site called ivans bulldogs with horrible reviews about dogs passing away and having health issues.
And there was a woman out in here in nj. She also raises home bred puppies yet when I cross checked her email I found she was busted for being a solo prostitute in her home two years ao, and used breeding puppies as a source of income.
I just want to warn anyone out there that if there are no puppies available at the moment, just wait it out. Any responsible breeder gives their females a break. That's being responsible. And ask TONS of questions. Ask about the parents, make sure they are on the premises. I found a girl in manhattan selling Yorkies with the mom and dad there too and she never took the puppies in for its shots and the price reflected this (those were her words!) Just be very careful and take the numbers and google them and google email addresses as well. You can find their whole "Online History" . I had this one woman out in north jersey tell me she had a litter, parents were hers, yet when I googled her # she was posting 3 different breeds of puppies and there were tons of postings on line from her since 2002!
My dog had a liver shunt. In the beginning, her vet was pointing to hypoglycemia. After a year she got worst and I ditched him and found a new vet. After we bile tested her, they wanted to do exploratory surgery on her to see if the shunt was on the inside or outside. This is a big deciding factor on whether or not they do the surgery to correct the shunt. She was on a strict low protein diet, lactulose and at times I had to feed her with a syringe. When I told certain "breeders", they didn't want to bother with me after this. That's where the communication stopped because I want some type of guarantee now on a puppy, and if they can't answer and "blow me off" then there's something they are hiding.
Also go with your gut. If it doesn't feel right then don't do business with that person.
The lesson learned is that there are a ton of shady people selling yorkie puppies out there. Just very very sad. |

I'm in NJ too and have been going through the exhausting research process as well. I encountered the same info you did. I may be looking at a cute blonde parti this week from a small hobby breeder. My only hesitation is that the pup is expected to be 6lbs at full growth and I was looking for a 4-5lb range so that I can take her everywhere with me.
May I ask who the breeder is that you finally found your puppy from and how much you paid?
Also, can anyone here on the forum advise whether a 6lb YT can comfortably fit into a dog purse/bag? It's very difficult to tell size from pics.
