The dark yorkies tend to be cottony or wooly coats and they mat, and break off very easy. I have a pair of siblings that have that type of coat, and in seven years I had never cut the hair, yet it was not even to the floor. I finally got to where I cut them into puppy cuts, or snorkie cuts and don't have to worry about brushing out the mats. |
