Jackson is 17lbs, very active, and eats 1/2 cup of kibble per day. He also gets wet food mixed in. He also gets treats (usually daily) for training, as well a Dentastix at night, so I try to include those calories. If he does A LOT of exercise (i.e. swimming, etc), I will up his kibble to 2/3 cup if he still seems hungry. But when I used to try to feed him the recommended amount on the bags (1 cup +) he never ate it. I think he would turn into a tub of lard if I fed him more than 3/4 cup lol. I keep him in this condition most of the time:
