 Is mullein okay for a puppy?
Okay, our 9 day old puppy had a bout of vomiting and diarrhea. I took her to the vet and the vet believes she may have aspirated as it came out her nose. Her lungs; however, sounded really well. She was given subcut. fluids and told me she's wayyy too little to receive antibiotic therapy and nothing could be done if she develops pneumonia except keeping her hydrated.
The pup seems fine and robust. She's nursing from her mother pretty good. The vomiting and diarrhea have resolved. I do hear a tiny bit of wheeze in the pup's left lung. Can I give the pup mullein to remedy the wheezing in her lung? or maybe a little to mom? I dont know anything about mullein or if it can be passed through breast milk. |
