Otherwise, I would use HealthyMouth water additive. It's the only water additive that has been trialed and tested, proven, etc. Check out their site. You can put it in water or pour over food. I use the HealthyMouth gel but it's somewhat messy. I apply it with a q-tip but it's a very thick green material (and not very "gel like") but it does seem to work.

My vet suggested Wysong Dentatreat be poured over his kibble, I can't tell if it's working or not, but... he likes it.

I have been trying since he was a pup. He fights me. I would need me and the DBF to brush them. It is not worth it. I saw the healthy mouth. I was wondering if it really works. Also it is good for cats and dogs. Everyone drinks out of all the bowls.
