Hi - I am completely new to YT so please bare with me!

I took my 8 month old Yorkie puppy to the vet today to get blood work done before his neuter on Monday. The vet called a few hours later and told me he had elevated enzymes in his blood and they will not be doing the surgery on Monday. They want me to come back in 10 days to get his blood retested to see if its gone down. I know I shouldn't worry, but I am VERY afraid it might be a liver shunt or something very serious. He is so young and he only weighs 3lbs so he is a very small Yorkie. From the time we brought him home from the breeder hes had numerous problems, Kennel cough, ear infection, ringworm. Does anyone have experience with their Yorkies when they were young having liver shunts or highly elevated enzymes in their blood? And is there anything I can do about it now (diet etc.) that can help them go down? I want him to live as long as possible! But, I'm also afraid of how expensive it might become!
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
