I am a new mom to a beautiful 9 month old 2.8 pd yorkie and new to yorkie talk and am deeply concerned ,something is off and I cant pinpoint it regarding my new babies health ,the breeder was very nolible on yorkies but didnt do astics of tail cropping dewclaws and on arrival home noticed she was matted her teeth were very poor condition the tarter looked like a older toy dog I drove to another state to get her and some toy dogs have awful teeth (short story I fell in love and this was a long awaited adoption as long as she was healthy and I was so distracted by making sure she ate and the vet I took her to said she was fine and the right age she just had poor genictics for teeth ,I have had her for a month, the night I brought her home she vommited and shook to the point her head bobbed it was the longest 2 hour drive home I then gave her nutracal and food and she held it down ,the breeder predicted the behavior and I chalked it up to a very scared possibley hypoglycemic from stress of new home ,the breeder discussed how you have to make sure they eat ect ,over the next couple of days she adjusted and only vommitted 1 other time ,her vet visit had gone ok I just had a feeling that the vet wasnt that experienced in small dogs as she stated the dog might make it to 5 pds ect at first I added canned taste of the wild to her dry puppy same brand she just seemed so small her weight jumped to 2 . 12 I talked to the breeder and she was very assertively said only dry I discontinued the canned and she went back down ,she is now 2.8 she just seems hypo to me and she is picky about dry but has a good appitite ,my last yorkie simular size was a sturdy healthy dog ,she continues to sometimes shake and seem a tiny bit dizzy off and on but maybe she is just a nervous dog ,I stopped nutracal as it seems to make her nashus ,also her bms are solid yet have bits of tan lite yellowish white specks on the casting of it this has been off and on she had it when I got her then it seemed to go away now it back in the last 2 days it almost resemles a moldy bm the only change is she did have a tiny bit of sweet potato and stole some food off my plate once or twice but nothing toxic right before it came back ???last night she was sitting there and looking at me and her head slowley swayed right to left then started to fall slowley backwards it wasnt head bobbing and her body was still I just left my vet they didnt have anything open but spoke briefly to a tech not feeling any better about the situation ,now I have googled and my head is racing do I have a very unhealthy pup or am I worring to much ,when I googled she has some signs of candida of the stomach also hypo signs then I wondering about liver shunts and debated adding cleavers to her diet ?I plan on having them run liver and kidney tests maybe bile ,and sugar maybe neuroligal??,,,,,,,,,if anyone one has any advise I even reaserched water in the brain ,,,,,I am a very experienced pet owner and used to work at a vet and tend to be a worrier but from my knowledge a hypo 9 month old equalls underlying health issues and seeing her head bob last night I know something is wrong and she is not just a nervous dog and I know shes small but my last baby was to and she didnt have these issues ,,,any advise ,,if you experienced any of this or if I am overworring , I had to put my last dog down 5 months ago and to start back up with a unhealthy dog is alot and I am already so attached
,,thank you in advance to anyone reading ,,,,
