First, I would like to say hello to everyone in the forum. I have been reading threads here since I've had my little angel, Lilly, and just decided to join.
So far, I've had nearly all my questions answered just by reading posts here. The only concern I have with my little girl is that her hair seems to be really silky on her head, but more coarse on her body. She is also very big for being only 4 1/2 months old . She was at the vet a couple of weeks ago and is already 5.6 lbs! I'm not truly concerned if she is full bred, I also know that my concerns are common and typically indicate a mixed breed or poor breeding. I have no intentions of showing her or breeding her, I really don't even care if she is mixed. I love her the same either way. I'm really just interested in knowing if she looks typical to the breed. My assumption, (being a new yorkie mommy) is that most of you who have raised yorkie's for many years could most likely look at my Lilly and give an opinion on if she "looks" typical to the breed. I appreciate any comments and am very excited to be a new member here!
