I just got back with my little Benji from the vet. She had very bloody diarrhea . Last week she spent three nights at the vets for HGE. I thought she was better. Today the vet repeated all her blood work and it was all back to normal. He said there was a lot of mucus and blood in her stool and so he thought it was a bacterial infection in her lower something.
He gave her sub something fluids and an anti biotic also a shot for her stomach. He doesn't know what's causing it. Not anything she ate as I have been with her 24/7 since the HGE scare. I'm so afraid. Has anyone ever heard of red bloody stool with no reason?
