My guys gnaw on Churpi Chews and an occasional buffalo ear. The ears are about the thickness of cardstock, translucent and don't seem to be fatty. After re-reading all of the information on them, they may actually be from cattle rather than buffalo - they are from free range grass fed animals and are antibiotic and chemical free. Not only that they are very reasonably priced. I get them from my favorite on line doggie treat store - petflow.com
