I have a shy Bichon and a Yorkie just like yours.
Even when my Yorkie was an 8-week old pup - right from the start - he'd run over the the Bichon's dish first and gulp it down (while the shy Bichon watched) and then run back and eat his own also.
I have had a real problem with my little Yorkie "getting all the food."
So - I have to feed them separately. I have even resorted to putting my Bichon in another room and letting him eat in peace so the Yorkie won't get his dinner.
Yorkies - are "gulping pigs." Sounds terrible, doesn't it. But I'm afraid that mine is just that.
