I had wondered if he needed some boots with tread. The only ones I have that have tread and are not pink are sandals(which would be silly for you in the snow) and metallic silver and black which I thought about sending you as a joke for Eddie because they are probobly too big for Jack. But anyways they are super shiny and metallic and for some reason they make me think of Michael Jackson- I dont know why.

This maybe a stupid question- but do you have snow all year or is that just a generalization about alaska? Becuase I think you do, but other people think I should have cactus's in my backyard and I dont, so I know you probobly dont have snow alll year long. Just wondering

It would be fun to tease you, expecially after you considered sending Eddie Michael Jackson shoes , but no, we only have snow from November to March or April here in Anchorage. Our summers are actually gorgeous with temps in the 60s to 80s.

As for the booties, I don't think anything would have helped on that ice today other than figure skates. It's amazing what a difference your booties make, though. I never thought Jack would be a winter dog, but he doesn't seem to mind the booties at all, and they've really cut down on his shivering.
