LOL I don't know why I said Kindle fire, maybe I heard that on TV, I have the kindle paperwhite, when I was on the phone the amazon guy he said I have the second generation. I don't think the one I have runs movies. I got it because I liked the idea of the bright white background. One of the reasons I don't read much anymore is I like to do it in bed just before going to sleep. My husband is crabby and goes to bed early so I am hoping I can lay on my side and read in the dark. He is such a light sleeper he hears the pages turning so I was thinking this would eliminate that. Cheryl, sounds like we have similar tastes. Valerie I know I have read several things by Barbara Delinski, so we must like several of the same authors. I am game to read any chick flick type books you gals have liked and would want to share. I don't think I have read a novel in almost two years, so there is a good chance if it has been published in the last two years I have not read it. I used to read with meals and so forth but between yorkie talk and facebook I now eat in front of the computer
I checked with my library and they do loan e books, I just have to find out what my card's pin number is, I heard they don't have to many but it's sure worth checking it out, thanks for that tip.
