I love this sweater too. Teddy wears the Small and Max wears the Medium with some extra room in it. It is all cotton, but I haven't tried washing it yet to see how much it would shrink. I will wash Max's Medium sweater and dry it in the dryer to see how much it shrinks, and then try it on Teddy.
Their chest size is a little over 14 inches and their back length is almost 12 inches.
The XS would be too small for Katie, and I think the Medium would be too big -- unless it shrinks down.
