That's awesome to hear about Mysti and your wife's patients. I bet she helped bring a smile to so many of them. It's such a terrible thing to lose such a beloved pup, and it's such a roller-coaster between nostalgic memories of all she gave you and deep sadness to not have her there on your lap or running around the living room. But I think talking helps; especially talking here to those of us who also know what it means to really love a pup. Just please try to think of the good times, but don't hesitate to cry when you're sad. I know everyone grieves differently, but aside from coming here and talking about my beautiful pup Minnie, I buried her in a spot where I can view from all the back windows in the house, and always kept a lot of pictures of her around for quick access on the desktop of my computer. I feel like it took me about a month to really let go.
