Oh MY, those stories are awful! I am emailing my cousin with an attachment to that site, she bathes her yellow lab and new puppy (forgot his breed) and her cat in the Hartz flea and tick. She gave my Gracie a bath with it last time we were over! The picture of that poor cat made me cry, how sad.
Ok, never using Hartz after looking at that web site!
I actually use a soapless shampoo on Gracie most of the time. The vet recommened it because normal shampoos with soap will wash off the flea drops. I give her a really good bath with the normal shampoo before applying the drops and inbetween fleaing I use the soapless shampoo. It works great and she looks just as good!
