I was kind of thinking of it this way too, even though there seems to be an idea that this "pack mentality" and "alpha dog" thing does not count with the way we interact with our babies.....I dont agree with that train of thought!......and it seems like this baby associates more of a "teacher", "boss", "disciplinarian" relationship with you, than a crazy, fun, happy, lets run and get crazy and then flop down on the floor and snuggle type of relationship. Maybe if you "loosen up" with him a little.....maybe less teaching, tricks, strict kind of relationship ....maybe that will allow him to feel more free and less "on guard"?
