He's likely wondering where you are and just not as sure as he could be he's entirely safe and secure. A visit for a good swatch of time and take him his favorite blankie or cuddle toy or an old t-shirt of yours might perk him right up and remind him of his home, give him hope. He'd likely take his food from your hand and eat something, too. If you can R/S that appt., I believe I'd try to do it and spend some time with a little boy who might be feeling a bit alone.

I'll be praying tomorrow is a good day for him and that you two can get to spend some time together.
